We process personal data exclusively in accordance with the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). The legal bases for processing are in particular Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract, e.g. for bookings), Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligations) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests, e.g. the secure and efficient operation of our website).

3. Hosting and server log files

Our website is hosted externally. The personal data collected on this website is processed on the host’s servers. When you visit our website, the server automatically collects information in so-called server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, page accessed, browser and browser version used, operating system and referrer URL. This data serves to ensure trouble-free operation, the security of our systems and error analysis (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is not merged with other data sources. The log files are automatically deleted at regular intervals.

Our website uses cookies. We use technically necessary cookies (e.g. to store your language selection) on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and § 25(2) TDDDG. If you contact us by phone, email or via a contact form, we process the information you provide (name, contact details, content of your inquiry) to handle your inquiry and any follow-up questions (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We do not pass on this data without your consent. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing your inquiry and no statutory retention obligations prevent its deletion.

6. Bookings via camping.care

For online bookings (pitches, rental caravans, berths), we use the camping.care booking system. When you make a booking, the data required for it (name, address, contact details, travel dates, payment details if applicable) is transmitted to camping.care and processed there as part of handling the booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). 7. External links (Google Maps, social media)

For directions, we link to Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited). We also link to our profiles on Instagram and Facebook (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited). When you click on these links, you leave our website; only then is data processed by the respective provider. The providers’ privacy notices apply: Google, Instagram, Facebook.

8. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are hosted locally. No connection to servers of Google or other third-party providers is established when the fonts are loaded.
