If you’re out and about with your dog, you’ll discover a piece of history on almost every outing: the small towns around Lake Müritz are home to centuries-old brick churches, Malchow Monastery and winding old towns that are wonderful for strolling – the leash stays on, and so does your curiosity.
Nature lovers head to Müritz National Park with its white-tailed eagles and cranes, to the Damerower Werder European bison reserve or to Affenwald Malchow. Active guests get in the saddle: our cycling and water sports offers lead along quiet tree-lined avenues and lakeside paths, and for a day trip the sights of Waren (Müritz) are well worth it.
From our site, you can reach all of this in a short time – and return to the tranquil Jabelscher See in the evening. After a day in the fresh air, the evening winds down on our lake terrace with 120 seats – and of course your dog is welcome to join you under the table. From here you look out over the lake where, during the day, your four-legged friend jumps into the water at our own dog beach. And if you want to get out on the water yourself: the marina offers berths for boats and yachts as well as canoe, SUP and rowing boat rental – a special experience with your dog on board.

Yes. We have our own stretch of shore on the Jabelscher See where your dog can swim, fetch and romp to its heart’s content – while elsewhere the “No dogs” sign is up.
Out of consideration for all guests, dogs must be kept on a leash on the grounds. At the designated dog beach and in the surrounding woods and meadows, your dog has plenty of room to run.
You can choose from lakeside pitches for tents, caravans, motorhomes and campervans, fully equipped rental caravans, as well as holiday apartments and a large holiday home – some with a fenced property.
